There has been three cases of Legionnaires disease in Volusia county, FL. The is contacted by breathing in mist or vapor contaminated with the bacteria. Sure, it is not like Bird Flu, and it doesn't have a public health threat at the moment, but I'm sure people would like to hear more about it. The people who contacted the disease were in a hotel, with other tourists. There can be possible threat to other states or countries. The media needs to keep a close eye on the disease and keep the public updated, because the disease, which can be treated by antibiotics, if left untreated may cause death. There were three teens arrested for the murder of a homeless man who was beaten with a baseball bat right outside FAU's Ft. Lauderdale campus. These teens basically ruined their lives, being charged with murder, because they went out and decided to beat up homeless people. I feel bad for these homeless people.
